Saturday - part two
The boys embraced their Cajun heritage Saturday. In addition to the new bikes, Grammy and Grandaddy introduced them to the crawfish boil. Ethan and Levi were entranced with the live squirming mass of crawfish. We had to hold Levi back so he wouldn't dive in. Ethan, however, refused to touch them until they were properly cooked. Even then, he didn't want a taste. "No, I don't like crocodile", he said. Instead, he satisfied himself with seasoned corn on the cob. And even though he didn't partake of the crawfish, Ethan - like a good Southern gentleman - went up to Grammy as we were leaving and said "Thank you for the tuna fish".
